Action plan for the creation of a knowledge-based bioeconomy innovation ecosystem in Vidzeme

Main focus and drivers

The action plan aims to create, develop and strengthen the bioeconomy innovation ecosystem by facilitating the emergence of knowledge-based innovations and providing support for their implementation. It also aims to contribute to economic growth, provide jobs, support solving social problems and promote regional development.

Special attention will be given to developing and using technologies in all areas of the economy, including microelectronics and nanoelectronics, nanotechnology, industrial biotechnology, advanced materials, etc.

The three main components of the bioeconomy ecosystem were natural resources, systems such as legal framework, structure and processes, cooperation networks and support measures, and stakeholders.
