Bioeconomy Innovation Day showcases Europe’s most promising bio-based innovations.
Background
The Bioeconomy Innovation Day is an annual event organised by the Bioregions Facility of the European Forest Institute. Each edition brings together researchers, start‑ups, industry, investors and regional authorities to highlight emerging solutions in the forest‑based and wider bioeconomy.
The aim is to accelerate innovation by connecting early‑stage technologies and ventures with the partners, visibility and resources they need to develop and scale.
This also aligns with the Bioeconomy Strategy of Catalonia (EBC 2030), which aims to boost innovation, enhance competitiveness, and strengthen both rural and industrial ecosystems by supporting the development and uptake of bio-based solutions.
