This fall: Bioeconomy Austria Summit & Tech Tour Forest Bioeconomy 2026
Bioeconomy Austria’s flagship Summit takes place on 5 October at the Seifenfabrik in Graz, bringing together its 400+ network partners from industry, agriculture, forestry and research to explore the bioeconomy as an economic driver, covering regional value creation, supply security and market opportunities for bio-based products.
The programme includes keynotes on timber construction and Austria’s bioeconomy footprint, company presentations across the forest, agriculture and aquatic value chains, and a financing panel with the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund and the Bio-based Industries Consortium (in English). Free for Bioeconomy Austria network partners.
The following day, 6 October, Holzcluster Steiermark, the Bioregions and Bioeconomy Austria host the back-to-back Tech Tour Forest Bioeconomy in Styria, showcasing innovative companies along the forest-based value chain. The event is held in English, so international participants are welcome.
