Discover the Forest Innovation Spotlight
The Forest Innovation Spotlight is a platform that brings together and showcases innovative solutions across the forest bioeconomy in Europe and beyond.
Conceptualised by EFI Bioregions and drawing on years of work with innovators, the platform highlights emerging technologies and services, including novel bio-based solutions, sustainable forest management techniques, and advanced digital forestry tools.
Why it matters
As Europe accelerates its transition toward a climate-neutral and nature-positive economy, the Forest Innovation Spotlight highlights forest and bio-based solutions that can contribute to this transformation.
This platform serves as a launchpad for sharing forest and bio-based solutions that deserve wider visibility, bringing them to the attention of buyers, partners and policymakers driving Europe’s green transition.
How to use it
The Spotlight provides a structured view of the current innovation landscape, making it easier to explore what is emerging across the forest-based and bio-based sectors.
Each entry can be searched and filtered according to biomass type, innovation type, and impact sector, making it easy to discover innovations relevant to specific interests or challenges:
Innovators, investors, and stakeholders across the forest bioeconomy are invited to explore the platform and connect with the innovators featured on it.
The Spotlight is intended as a living resource and will continue to evolve as new innovations emerge and additional information becomes available.
Supported by European regions
The Forest Innovation Spotlight is an initiative of the EFI Bioregions. Its development has been made possible through the generous support of the network’s member regions, which are working together to drive transformative changes towards a forest-based bioeconomy.
