Finland’s Bioeconomy Strategy 2022-2035 aims to double the added value of bioeconomy in an ecologically, socially and economically sustainable manner and to make Finland climate neutral by 2035.

Finland’s new Bioeconomy Strategy has been completed. The strategy aims to double the added value of bioeconomy in an ecologically, socially and economically sustainable manner and to make Finland climate neutral by 2035.

Bioregions Forest bioeconomy in action - EFI

The Bioregions Facility promotes transregional cooperation for a sustainable and integrative forest-based circular bioeconomy.

Bioregions members are Basque Country, Catalonia and North Rhine-Westphalia. Observers are Castile and León, the Committee of the Regions - NAT Commission (COR), the Free State of Thuringia and North Karelia.
