Sylvain Caurla

Sector Economist at the European Investment Bank (EIB)

Sylvain Caurla is a forest economist within the EIB’s Projects Directorate. He works on the appraisal and monitoring of projects financed by the EIB, in and outside Europe, in both public and private sectors. He was previously a researcher at INRAE in France, working on climate policies applied to the forestry sector. He holds a PhD in Economics and a forest engineer degree from AgroParisTech (France).
