Is your region leading the way in advancing the bioeconomy?

Regional governments and initiatives are invited to submit a case for presentation at the Bioeconomy Regions Summit 2025, taking place on 23 October in Brussels. This high-level event will spotlight regional bioeconomy solutions that contribute to EU policy ambitions across three core themes:

  • Session  1: Regional ambitions for place-based bioeconomy transitions: lessons learned and ways forward
  • Session 2: Preserving our natural capital: sustainable management of forest resources
  • Session 3: Scaling up bioeconomy innovation in European regions: path to competitiveness

Call submissions will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis. The final deadline to apply is 5 September 2025.
