Junior Researcher in Forest Economics and Ecosystem Services
The Forest Science and Technology Centre of Catalonia (CTFC) is looking for a researcher to join the Socioeconomics and Governance of Rural Systems group and contribute to projects related to the monetary valuation of forest ecosystem services.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate is expected to:
- Perform economic analyses in the field of the economic impact of projects, environmental valuation, financial analysis, political economics of current research and innovation projects, and reporting.
- Data collection (surveys and/or interviews) with key actors (policymakers, prescriptors, land managers) and database management.
- Literature review and reporting on key forest ecosystem services, pastoralism, Nature-based Solutions (NbS), and forest innovations, among others.
- Contribute to writing scientific articles, technical reports, and other institutional activities.
