Ilaria Re is Chief Operating Officer at Consorzio Italbiotec, the leading Italian non-profit organisation in the biotechnology field, and Head of Project Management at the Lombardy Green Chemistry Association, the regional bioeconomy cluster. She coordinates the Bioeconomy Pilot for the Vanguard Initiative, a European regional network promoting industrial growth through Smart Specialization Strategies. She is a lecturer of innovation management at the University of Milan and the University of Bologna and has over ten publications in peer-reviewed journals focused on business modelling of sustainable innovation on bioeconomy and circular economy
