EU Green Deal: Opportunities for the wood value chain

EU Green Deal: Opportunities for the wood value chain
On 10 September 2024, join the EU Green Deal event (in German) at Palais Saal, Promenade 15, 4020, in Linz, Austria. EU Green Deal intends to mark a turning point in shaping our economic future. Through new standards for sustainability, the European Green Deal aims to make the EU climate-neutral by 2050 and promote a sustainable economy. As part of the Green Deal, new measures are being created, and existing ones are being revised. Examples of this are the CSRD, the EU Taxonomy, the CSDDD, the SFDR, and, for example, the EUDR.
During the event, learn about all these abbreviations and what concrete challenges, opportunities, and tasks arise for the wood value chain. The aim is to find out how the classification system of the EU Taxonomy, which is intended to define which economic activities are ecologically sustainable, can create an advantage for woodworking companies.
Visit the website (in German) to check the preliminary agenda and register.
