BIO2REG Connect – Unlocking Regional Pathways for the Bioeconomy

On 3 February 2026, join BIO2REG at their event in Brussels, Belgium, and discover how regions can bring bioeconomy solutions to life. The event brings together regional authorities, clusters, researchers, development actors, policymakers and experts.

The project BIO2REG supports European regions in accelerating their transition to a sustainable and circular bioeconomy, and the event will provide practical tools, guidance and peer-learning opportunities.

Programme

Look forward to high-profile keynote speakers: Evdokia Achilleos, Head of Sector, European Research Executive Agency, and Sam Hout Ledo, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, European Commission, Jan-Philipp Kramer, Partner and Head of EU-Services Prognos.

Discover how the bioeconomy can be implemented regionally. Regions from Sweden to the Basque Country alongside several other regions will present their challenges, conditions and innovative ideas. We will focus on regional issues to learn from each other.
