Bioregions observers

What’s a Bioregions observer?

A Bioregions observer is a regional authority or relevant entity wanting to follow the work of the Bioregions Facility without being a donor. The relationship with the Bioregions Facility is formalised by becoming an observer and inviting the observer to listen to our meetings and learn about our activities.

Although not involved in decision-making, for regional authorities, becoming an observer is a way to get acknowledged for the work and perceive the value of becoming a full member.

What are the benefits?

Becoming a bioregion observer provides many benefits:

  • Establish relationships with the member regions, leading regions in the European forest bioeconomy, and with EFI as secretariat.
  • Get acknowledged with the activities and work.
  • Be invited to listen to internal progress meetings of the Facility to relevant in-person events and webinars.
