Bioregions observers

What’s a Bioregions observer?

A Bioregions observer is a regional authority or relevant entity wanting to follow the work of the Bioregions Facility without being a donor. The relationship with the Facility is formalised by becoming an observer and inviting the observer to listen to our meetings and learn about our activities.

Although regional authorities are not involved in decision-making, becoming an observer is a way for them to get acknowledged for their work and perceive the value of becoming a full member.

What are the benefits?

Observers have many benefits:

  • Establish relationships with the member regions, leading regions in the European forest bioeconomy, and with EFI as secretariat.
  • Get acknowledged with the activities and work.
  • Be invited to listen to internal progress meetings of the Facility to relevant in-person events and webinars.
